My Blog

ok, i decided to delete all my previous blogs.  even though, they documented a very interesting time at the start of my summer this year, i think it’s better this way.  in a way, they were TOO personal and close to the heart, and friendster and blogging is the probably the furthest thing from being private that there is.  unfortunately, i don’t really have the time to keep a journal, so it is sad that i’m wiping away a bit of history, but, i’m also teaching myself to always look forward, and not back.  also, i’m trying to get the hang of this blogging shit.

so, what’s really on hali’s mind these days you ask?  pretty simple.. girls.  :)  well, i’ve spent a good part of this year kinda obsessing over this one (when i really shouldn’t have had the tunnelvision on).   i snapped out of that recently just to be pulled back in over the weekend.  damn, i gotta stop doing that!   stupid me.  live and learn (and always look forward,) i need to keep telling myself. 

other than that, life is treating me fine.  i’ve been djing some nice gigs lately.  i played at footwork with fred everything over the weekend.  had a blast and the crowd seemed to as well.  did the m-one-11 fashion show and got some sweet treads out of it as well.  harvest festival coming up!  can’t wait.  as for my day stuff, i have some contract work which is keeping me busy, and i had a job interview for a project manager position at an ad agency earlier today.  interview was not too bad, we’ll see if anything becomes of it.  fingers crossed because i could deal with a 6-figure salary right about now!  hell, maybe i might not have much girl problems after that.. hehe.
